On behalf of our client, we are hiring a BPM Specialist Liner to support their regional Centre of Excellence (COE) initiatives. Our client is a global maritime and logistics organization undergoing a major transformation to centralize and standardize operations across multiple countries.
The Liner agency service transformation is a key component of this initiative, aiming to standardize, optimize, and digitize agency operations across all locations.
Joining the team as a BPM Specialist Liner , you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and harmonizing liner agency service processes across Southeast Asia, ensuring consistent service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency across all functions including Sales & Marketing, Vessel Operations, Equipment Logistics, Customer Service & Documentation, and Finance & Credit Control.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and document existing liner operations workflows, including export, import, transshipment, and equipment control activities.
Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for customer service and documentation functions across countries.
Collaborate with regional stakeholders to align operational practices within a centralized COE model.
Monitor service performance indicators (SLA, processing time, documentation accuracy) and identify improvement opportunities.
Support ERP/system process alignment to ensure compliance and operational visibility.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in container shipping or liner agency operations.
Proven experience in customer service, documentation, or operational roles within a carrier or freight forwarding environment.
Strong understanding of ocean export/import processes and container cargo flow.
Familiarity with documentation flow, cargo flow, and equipment management within liner operations.
Experience working with logistics systems (e.g., SAP) and strong proficiency in MS Office tools.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Soft Skills
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive change within a dynamic maritime environment.
Structured thinking with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in English (Mandarin or local language is an advantage).
