Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Optimisation Manager is responsible for supporting hospital business planning and operational optimisation across the Group. The role works closely with hospitals to develop functional plans, translate business requirements into operational and renovation requirements, review layouts and concepts from an operational perspective, monitor post-renovation performance, and participate in patient journey standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Patient Journey & Standardisation
- Lead or participate in Group initiatives to standardise patient journeys and operational workflows across hospitals.
- Develop, review and optimise patient flows and service touchpoints to improve patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with hospitals and functional departments to implement One Hoan My operational standards.
- Collect operational feedback and continuously improve standard workflows and operating models.
Functional Planning
- Work with hospitals to develop business and service development plans.
- Analyse projected service demand, patient flow and operational requirements.
- Translate business plans into functional planning requirements for renovation and development projects.
- Coordinate with hospitals and relevant departments to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into project planning.
Renovation Optimisation
- Review layouts, concepts and renderings from an operational perspective.
- Ensure layouts support patient flow, staff workflow, operational efficiency and future scalability.
- Identify operational risks and recommend practical improvements before construction.
- Coordinate with architects, project teams and hospitals during design development.
Post Renovation Monitoring & Optimisation
- Monitor operational performance after renovation or new service implementation.
- Analyse patient volumes, utilisation, patient flow and operational KPIs.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend operational optimisation.
- Support implementation of post-renovation improvement initiatives.
Performance Monitoring and Recommendations
- Collaborate with the data analytics team to collect information, track outcomes, and provide recommendations for improvement

Job Required Skills And Qualifications
- University Degree with healthcare-related subject
- Minimum 8-year experience in healthcare operations and/or process optimisation
- Solid knowledge of hospital/clinic workflows and patient flow management
- Basic knowledge of biomedical and facility management, customer service and finance/PnL management
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project management and coordination
