Business Manager

A leader in maritime shipping is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Business Manager - Vietnam Representative position based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the Vietnam office, including setup, staffing, and operational readiness.
• Oversee daily administration, vendor management, financial oversight, and regulatory registrations.
• Serve as the senior representative, building strong relationships with industry stakeholders and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities, executing growth strategies, and expanding market presence.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop personnel to achieve operational excellence and foster collaboration.
• Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and report operational and financial performance to headquarters.
• Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and professional associations to enhance visibility.
• Strengthen market presence and support sustainable business growth across Vietnam.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, operations, and stakeholder management.
• Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and market expansion.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage teams, drive performance, and foster collaboration.
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
