Summary:
The role focuses on managing and growing our Thai client portfolio in Vietnam while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholder , including ThaiCham and the Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate.
Responsibilities:
1. Thai Client Relations & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and expand our Thai client portfolio in Vietnam, ensuring strong and proactive engagement with key stakeholders such as ThaiCham, the Royal Thai Embassy, the Royal Thai Consulate, and other Thai business communities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Thai banks operating in Vietnam, including collaborating, negotiating, and supporting formal facility documentation where required.
- Act as the primary bridge between the local BD team and corporate stakeholders in Thailand, ensuring smooth communication, timely coordination, and strategic alignment.
- Support initiatives and activities that enhance the company's presence and relationships within the Thai business community.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
2. Strategic & Business Development
- Monitor and research relevant updates on economy, regulations, political and social trends, and share key insights with internal stakeholders.
- Understand the company's strategic direction, identify key risks and success factors, and support periodic reviews.
- Assist in screening potential business or investment opportunities aligned with the company's strategy.
- Prepare materials and proposals to support internal discussions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Having 2 years of experience and understanding of the Vietnam business environment , especially energy business in Vietnam
- Fluent in both Thai and English (Vietnam language skills would be a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
