Job Role
The Business Development Manager – Energy Storage Solutions will be responsible for driving commercial growth, channel expansion, and market development activities for residential energy storage products within Vietnam. This role focuses on building sustainable distributor networks, strengthening local partner ecosystems, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting long-term market penetration strategies within the renewable energy sector.
Working closely with channel partners, installers, distributors, and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's market presence while supporting project execution, partner enablement, and customer engagement initiatives. This position is ideal for commercially driven professionals with strong experience in renewable energy, energy storage, photovoltaics, or related technology-driven industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and market expansion initiatives for residential energy storage solutions across Vietnam.
- Develop, manage, and expand relationships with distributors, installers, resellers, and strategic channel partners to build a sustainable sales ecosystem.
- Coordinate day-to-day channel operations and support the execution of business development initiatives to achieve commercial objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer demand assessments to support strategic business planning and market penetration activities.
- Deliver product training, commercial support, and technical coordination for channel partners to strengthen sales effectiveness and market competitiveness.
- Monitor project progress, order execution, and after-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal commercial, technical, and operational teams to support business growth and localized market development.
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging market trends within the renewable energy and energy storage sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy Engineering, Communications, Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within renewable energy, energy storage systems, photovoltaics, inverters, electrical equipment, or related smart energy industries.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, channel development, distributor management, market expansion, or partner ecosystem development roles.
- Strong understanding of Vietnam's renewable energy, solar, and energy storage market landscape.
- Proven track record in developing and managing distributor, installer, reseller, or channel partner ecosystems within B2B environments.
- Experience managing commercial targets, market development initiatives, and business growth strategies with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Strong understanding of residential energy storage systems, photovoltaic technologies, inverters, electrical equipment, and integrated renewable energy solutions.
- Familiarity with distributor-driven go-to-market strategies, channel operations, project coordination, and localized market expansion activities.
- Experience conducting market intelligence analysis, competitor benchmarking, pricing analysis, and market mapping exercises.
- Strong business development, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
