The Business Development Manager (BDM) serves as the primary interface between the Company, its Customers, and Suppliers, including the end customers of our Partners. This role is responsible for driving business expansion and executing supplier strategies, with a particular emphasis on Unity products and related software solutions. The BDM manages the complete sales cycle, aiming to maximize revenue, net gross profits, and customer satisfaction by cultivating strong relationships with supplier organizations, partners, and end customers. The role requires independently handling suppliers while delivering top-class value-added services, especially in the software domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Unity Product Sales: Drive adoption and revenue growth of Unity software solutions across target markets.
- Supplier & Vendor Initiatives: Create, develop, and implement supplier-specific and vendor-specific business plans.
- Channel Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with Unity's go-to-market strategy.
- Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, credit management, order processing, and AR collections.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and inventory planning to ensure smooth execution.
- Market Development: Identify new opportunities for Unity software solutions, expand customer base, and strengthen market presence.
- Customer Success: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering tailored solutions and ongoing support.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in business development or sales, with a strong background in software sales.
- Proven track record in selling software solutions, ideally with experience in Unity or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of channel partner ecosystems and vendor engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong analytical and forecasting abilities to drive operational excellence.
