Role Overview:
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Staffing & Outsourcing business in Vietnam. This role will focus on acquiring new clients, expanding service penetration, and building long-term workforce solutions partnerships, particularly across contract staffing, payroll outsourcing, and workforce management.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Revenue Generation
Drive new client acquisition across key industries (manufacturing, FMCG, retail, tech, services)
Build and manage a strong pipeline of staffing and outsourcing opportunities
Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets for contract staffing solutions
Identify cross-selling opportunities from existing recruitment clients
2. Client Engagement & Solution Selling
Engage with HR Directors, CFOs, and business leaders to understand workforce needs
Propose tailored solutions including: o Contract staffing o Payroll outsourcing o Employer of Record (EOR)
Lead commercial discussions, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation
3. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client hiring behaviors
Provide insights to refine go-to-market strategy for staffing services
Support development of new service offerings and pricing models
4. Internal Collaboration
Work closely with recruitment team to ensure delivery capability
Align with operations/payroll team for smooth onboarding and compliance
Coordinate with legal/finance on contract structuring and risk management
5. Pipeline Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting
Provide weekly updates on BD activities, conversion ratios, and revenue outlook
Ensure disciplined follow-through from lead generation to deal closure
Requirements:
58+ years of experience in: Staffing / outsourcing / recruitment services or B2B solution sales in HR services
Proven track record in business development and revenue generation
Strong understanding of Vietnam labor market and workforce trends
Experience engaging with mid-to-senior level stakeholders (HRD, CFO, CEO)
Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and closing skills
