Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and expand our customer base for digital platforms and enterprise solutions ((e.g., Distribution Management Systems DMS, Retailer Platform...) DMS, or similar business platforms). The role focuses on consultative solution selling, understanding client business challenges, and delivering value-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare Business Development Materials

  • Prepare and develop sales materials including pitch decks, proposals, bidding/tender documents, and solution presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, technical, marketing) to ensure materials clearly communicate the platform's value proposition.

2. Client Prospecting and Engagement

  • Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential clients across target industries.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to introduce the company's platform and solutions.
  • Understand client business needs and recommend suitable platform-based solutions.

3. Solution Consulting and Value Analysis

  • Analyze client requirements and propose appropriate digital platforms or business solutions.
  • Demonstrate business value through benefits analysis and ROI calculations.
  • Support clients in evaluating how the platform can improve operational efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.

4. Business Development and Networking

  • Build and expand professional networks through trade promotion events, industry conferences, and business communities.
  • Leverage social channels (e.g., LinkedIn) and professional networks to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.

5. Pipeline and Opportunity Management

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Maintain and track the sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery and client onboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 35+ years of experience in Business Development, B2B sales, or solution sales, preferably for digital platforms, SaaS, or enterprise solutions.
  • Experience selling solutions related to distribution, retail, FMCG, or enterprise operations is an advantage (e.g., DMS or similar platforms).
  • Strong experience in consultative selling, solution presentations, and client engagement.
  • Ability to understand business problems and translate them into technology-driven solutions.
  • Experience preparing proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and business cases with ROI analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Good command of English communication (written and spoken) is preferred.
