Business Development Manager/Senior Sales Executive, Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding, Hanoi

Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, your mission is simple: win new business.

This is a 100% hunter role focused on acquiring new freight forwarding clients and expanding SEKO's customer base in Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, target, and close new freight forwarding business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue and profitability.
• Manage your own sales pipeline and keep all activities updated in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to increase wallet share and retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
• Present SEKO's full suite of logistics solutions to potential clients.
• Share market insights with internal teams to sharpen our sales strategy.
• Support marketing campaigns and special promotions as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• More than 3 years of sales and account management experience in freight forwarding/logistics, with at least 2 years in air freight and/or ocean freight.
• Proven track record in air and ocean freight sales.
• Strong understanding of the logistics industry and customer needs.
• Experience managing a personal portfolio and thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English (Chinese proficiency is a plus).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and results-oriented.
• Experience in pricing or customer service is a bonus.
