Business Development Manager, New Retail Business (APAC)

Position Purpose:

Develop PingPong's New Retail Business in Southeast Asia, targeting chain F&B, retail brands and Chinese overseas enterprises with integrated payment and treasury management services.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and onboard local chain brands & Chinese overseas clients (e.g. F&B, retail), promote POS payment, fund aggregation and split-payment solutions.

- Analyze pain points in global payment consolidation, cross-border fund management, and multi-tier settlements to deliver tailored solutions.

- Collaborate with solution, product, risk and ops teams to ensure end-to-end client experience.

Qualifications:

Must Have

• 5+ years in bank acquiring, payment platforms, ERP/ISV, or financial digitalization projects for chain enterprises.
• Deep knowledge of local payment schemes and cross-border treasury management.
• Existing network with chain industry decision-makers (F&A/IT leadership).
• Fluent English with cross-cultural negotiation skills.

Good to have:

• Experience in global POS consolidation or split-payment projects.
• Chinese proficiency (for serving Chinese overseas clients).
