Role Description
The Business Development Manager (BDM) serves as the primary interface between the Company, Vendors, and Channel Partners. This role is responsible for driving business growth and executing vendor strategies, with a key focus on Aruba and Juniper networking solutions. The BDM works closely with distributors, resellers, and system integrators to expand partner engagement, maximize revenue, and strengthen the vendor ecosystem in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Networking Solution Development: Drive business growth for Aruba and Juniper networking solutions, including switching, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and network security offerings.
- Vendor Strategy Execution: Develop and execute vendor-specific business plans, sales initiatives, and go-to-market activities aligned with Aruba and Juniper objectives.
- Partner Management: Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Channel Enablement: Work closely with partners to provide product positioning, sales support, training coordination, and business development activities.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage forecasting, opportunity tracking, pricing, quotation support, order management, and partner account planning.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Monitor sales pipeline, provide accurate sales forecasts, and ensure business performance targets are achieved.
- Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate regularly with vendor teams on promotions, enablement programs, certifications, and joint business planning.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in business development, channel sales, or partner management within the IT/networking industry.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking solutions, preferably Aruba and/or Juniper technologies.
- Experience working with distributors, resellers, and system integrators in the Vietnam market.
- Good understanding of networking technologies including switching, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and network security.
- Proven ability to drive channel business growth and manage partner relationships effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple partner accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, planning, and forecasting capabilities.
