Job Description

The hiring company is a leading provider of high-performance industrial machinery and solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous Business Development Manager to drive the company's growth and establish a strong market presence in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will be a proactive hunter, focused on acquiring new customers and building long-term, strategic relationships.

Main responsibilities:

  • Pioneer New Business: Identify, target, and convert high-potential new accounts across plastic processing industry to drive substantial growth in machinery sales.
  • Full Sales Pipeline Ownership: Take charge of the entire sales process, from initiating contact and developing strategic relationships to managing the efficient flow of orders, invoices, and ensuring punctual customer settlements.
  • Commercial Operations Liaison: Serve as the internal bridge for processing technical proposals, order documentation, logistics coordination, and after-sales service coordination.
  • Systematic Engagement & Forecasting: Develop and submit accurate sales forecasts (short-term and long-term) based on pipeline analysis and market trends.
  • Deep Market Insight: Cultivate strategic customer relationships at all organizational levels to gain critical knowledge regarding their technical requirements, investment cycles, and surrounding market intelligence.
  • Competitive Analysis: Continuously track competitor movements and market shifts relevant to industrial plastic machinery in the region.

The ideal candidate profile:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering is highly preferred, or other relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated success in selling complex industrial capital equipment within plastic manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to understand and discuss technical applications and quality control parameters.
  • Highly autonomous and self-driven, thrives in a lean operational structure, and possesses exceptional tenacity, resilience, and motivation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and commercial audiences.
  • A proactive hunter mentality with a strong drive to win new business.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analysis tools.
  • Proficient English level is a must.
  • Willingness to travel for business on a regular basis.
