Job Description

Business Development Manager - Logistics

3.1 Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Identify and approach new customers requiring customized solutions in customs clearance, trucking, warehousing, and cross-border logistics
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and deal closure in coordination with sales and product teams
  • Achieve assigned revenue and new customer acquisition targets
  • Partner with account management teams to expand business through upselling and cross-selling opportunities

3.2 Solution Development & Implementation

  • Develop service solutions that address customer challenges and improve supply chain efficiency
  • Coordinate with internal solution teams to design customized offerings in customs, transportation, warehousing, and cross-border operations
  • Support customer onboarding and ensure smooth implementation of agreed solutions

3.3 Market & Competitive Insights

  • Monitor market trends and customer needs within customs, trucking, warehousing, and cross-border logistics
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert on industry best practices
  • Support go-to-market positioning together with marketing and commercial teams
  • Conduct benchmarking to ensure service competitiveness

High performers may advance into senior commercial leadership roles within the Company's logistics solutions organization.

Candidate Requirements

  • Solid experience in Business Development within logistics/warehousing
  • Strong understanding/Experience of VAS (Value Added Services), e.g. Customs clearance; International & Domestic Trucking; Warehousing; Cross-border transportation..etc
  • Minimum 57 years of business development or sales experience within logistics, 3PL, or supply chain industries
  • Strong track record in B2B new business development
  • Solid experience of customs clearance, trucking, warehousing, and cross-border logistics services
  • Proven consultative selling and contract negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with the Vietnam market and local business practices
