We support businesses to trade and grow internationally by providing secure, compliant, and scalable payment solutions. As we continue to expand in Vietnam, we are building a strong local team to work with large, strategically important merchants and financial institutions.

The Role

This role is a client-facing position focused on both business development and key account management, working closely with large enterprise merchants and major banks in Vietnam. You will be responsible for acquiring new high-value merchants while acting as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts throughout the merchant lifecycle, from onboarding through activation and long-term growth. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams across partnerships, marketing, technical support, risk, compliance, legal, and finance to ensure a high-quality merchant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and grow a portfolio of large, strategically important merchants in Vietnam
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing relationships throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Lead merchant onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to active operations
  • Provide end-to-end support for merchant inquiries via email, phone, and direct engagement
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational, technical, risk, and compliance-related issues
  • Provide accurate guidance and education to merchants on products, processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Handle complex cases, difficult conversations, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain regular contact with merchants to build long-term business relationships
  • Capture merchant feedback, identify trends and risks, and escalate urgent issues when required
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and support reporting and market analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in business development, key account management, or hunter-style sales roles
  • Background in fintech, payments, e-commerce, internet companies, financial institutions, or transaction processing is preferred
  • Proven experience managing enterprise or large-scale clients
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills (email, phone, and in-person)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound commercial decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • English proficiency required; Mandarin working knowledge is preferred
  • Global or regional working experience is a plus
