Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Executive (individual contributor) to drive commercial growth in Vietnam.
This is a hunter role: you will own the full BD cycle, with hands-on support from the Vietnam Managing Director and the Operations Manager.
You will sell technically deep services to engineering, facility, and sustainability decision-makers who expect substance from the first meeting.
- Primary sector focus: Industrial and Logistics.
- Secondary sectors: Hospitality, Healthcare, Retail
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients across the target sectors in Vietnam, both international FDI groups (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, European manufacturers) and local players.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of key accounts, with a clear hunting plan by sector and geography.
- Set up qualification meetings, scope client needs, and build proposals in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Manage the bidding process from end to end: gather inputs from technical stakeholders, respect deadlines, and coordinate with regional admin support.
- Identify and redirect adjacent opportunities (MEP, structure, project management, BIM) to internal sister divisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data in CRM and internal databases.
- Represent the company at industry events and in relevant business associations (EuroCham, CCIFV, AmCham, sector-specific groups).
Profile & Qualifications:
Background and experience:
- Locals, based in Vietnam
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in technical services, ideally sold to the industrial or logistics sector
- Engineering background is a strong plus (energy, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building, environmental, industrial), given the technical depth of our consulting work
- Coming from one of: energy service company (ESCo), green building consultancy, engineering firm (construction or process), technical facility management provider, HVAC or building products manufacturer
- Existing portfolio of local and/or international key accounts in Vietnam is a strong plus
- Solid grasp of the Key Account Management approach: structured pipeline, qualification discipline, multi-stakeholder selling
Skills and personal qualities:
- Strong commercial autonomy: prospecting, qualifying, closing, with a hunter mindset
- Proficient in professional English, both written and spoken (English is the working language)
- Languages: Vietnamese (French is a plus but not required)
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM tools
- Genuine interest in sustainability, energy efficiency and green building
- Willing to travel regularly within Vietnam (industrial parks in southern provinces, Hanoi area, occasional regional travel)
- Open-minded, structured, with strong time and priority management
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural team
