Lead Business Development and strategic partnerships for the Group's Ventures Business Unit, which includes an esports organization, an artist development and music label and multiple original IP-driven businesses.
Act as the central BD lead supporting venture teams that already operate independently, focusing on sponsorships, brand partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
Work closely with venture leadership to:
Identify and package commercial assets such as teams, artists, content, events, communities, and proprietary IPs
Translate these assets into commercially scalable partnership and sponsorship offerings.
Proactively develop and manage relationships with:
Local, regional, and global brands
Strategic partners and agencies.
Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including:
Opportunity identification
Partnership ideation and proposal development
Commercial structuring, negotiation, and deal closing
Handover to venture execution teams.
Drive cross-venture and Group-level partnership initiatives, creating integrated partnerships across esports, music, content, and culture-led IPs.
Ensure effective coordination across ventures to:
Avoid overlap in commercial opportunities
Align partnership priorities
Maximize overall partnership value for the Group.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Commercial roles, preferably within esports, music, entertainment, media, sports, or IP-driven businesses.
Demonstrated track record in sponsorship and partnership development, including complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
Experience working with IP-based assets such as teams, artists, content franchises, or communities.
Strong understanding of brand marketing objectives and sponsorship-led growth models.
Excellent commercial storytelling, negotiation, and deal-structuring skills.
Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, multi-business environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across venture leaders and Group functions.
Fluent in English; regional or global partnership experience is a strong advantage.
