Role Summary
Working closely with the Country Manager, the incumbent is responsible for achieving specification and sales target by promoting our Data Center Solutions product lines to System Integrators and end users.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of Data Center Product lines (Racks & Containment, PDU, structured cabling solutions, cooling, power).
- Promote the selling points of Data Center Product lines Focus on Colocation DC White room.
- Promote Data Center Product line through solid sales presentation, and together with Marketing through events and networking sessions.
- Conduct weekly sales visits to Investors, System Integrator, Distributors and End Users and provide weekly sales visit report & project update to the Country Manager.
- Responsible for preparing concept proposal, specifications, quotations and generating sales turnover according to targets.
- Be a trusted partner and support to System Integrator and Distributors by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including basic technical support.
- Work closely with the Design, Production and Logistics Team, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Sales Forecasts Plans (Target vs Actual), etc. to the Country Manager, ensuring sales targets are met.
- Follow-up on outstanding payments as provided by Finance.
- Provide any general reports/support as and when required.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
Role Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English with country manager and SEA Legrand Data Center Solution team.
- Preferred experience in Manufacturer/solution provider (structured cabling, cabinets, UPS, cable management) or System integrator.
- Minimum Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering,
- Highly energetic and fast learner, able to absorb knowledge fast, on both business and technology
- Strong customers-focus, an advocate of excellent customer service
- Sales-driven, to meet business targets and goals
- Independent as well as a team player
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), internally and externally Well-versed in MS Office (Excel)
