Overview
The BD&P Senior Lead will sit at the intersection of music, brands, media, and culture, working closely with the label, marketing, production, legal, and creative teams to unlock new revenue streams and long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with strong industry relationships and a proven track record in music, entertainment, or brand partnerships.
KeyResponsibilities:
A. IP & Asset Monetization
- Identify and execute monetization strategies for DAO's music catalogs, artist IP, and original digital shows and IPs
- Develop revenue opportunities across sync, licensing, content partnerships, digital platforms, and emerging formats
- Collaborate with legal and creative teams to structure commercially viable deals
B. Brand, Agency & Commercial Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies, and marketing partners
- Source and negotiate sponsorships, endorsements, and integrated marketing campaigns for artists and DAO-owned IP
C. Music IP Commercial Rights
- Manage and optimize the commercial and brand rights for the company's music IP
- Act as a key liaison between artists, managers, brands, and internal teams
D. Partnership Management & Optimization
- Assist COO in managing existing partnerships, ensuring performance, renewals, and finding new opportunities for growth
- Continuously evaluate partnerships to improve and scale partnerships
- Track deal performance, revenue outcomes, and strategic value
Requirments:
- 4-5 years experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles within music, entertainment, media, or culture industries
- Proven track record securing sponsorships, partnerships, or licensing deals
- Established relationships with brands, agencies, platforms, or entertainment partners
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Onboarding timeline: The expected start date may be after 01 March 2026, as DAO Music typically completes hiring after the Lunar New Year holiday period.
