Business Central AL Developer (Part-Time)

We are hiring a skilled Business Central AL Developer to support ERP customization, integration, and extension development initiatives. This role is part-time (2030 hours/week) with required overlap during U.S. working hours (GMT -6).
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central AL extensions.
- Customize standard modules based on client-specific ERP requirements.
- Develop API and web service integrations with third-party systems.
- Participate in solution design and technical architecture discussions.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented AL code following best practices.
- Support data migrations, upgrades, and environment deployments.
- Troubleshoot production and sandbox issues efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Professional-level English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
- Strong proficiency in AL language (extensions, tables, pages, reports, codeunits).
- Experience developing SaaS-ready extensions.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile workflows.
- Solid understanding of ERP business processes (finance, sales, purchasing, inventory).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience upgrading legacy NAV (C/AL) solutions to AL extensions.
- Experience integrating Business Central with Power Platform or external APIs.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and structured data migration processes.
- Microsoft certification (MB-800 or related).
- Experience packaging and publishing Business Central extensions (AppSource or per-tenant deployments).
Work Environment
- Part-time (2030 hours per week).
- Must overlap with U.S. working hours (GMT -6).
- Remote-first, but candidate must reside in H Ch Minh City.
- Collaboration via Microsoft Teams.
- Task tracking through Azure DevOps.
