Job Description:
We are looking for a
Mid-Senior Business Analyst to support the Synaptix enterprise platform and AIOps modules. In this role, you will gather requirements, translate them into clear BRD/FRD documentation, define data flows across modules, and work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure accurate, high-quality delivery.
This position requires strong analytical skills, deep understanding of IT Operations, and the ability to convert business needs into actionable specifications for technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Work directly with internal stakeholders, SMEs, and product teams to gather business requirements.
- Translate requirements into BRD/FRD, user stories, and detailed specifications.
- Clarify business rules, workflows, and system dependencies.
Data Flow & Cross-Module Alignment
- Define and document data flow and functional use-cases across Synaptix modules: Ingestion Model Portal Metrics.
- Ensure alignment between FE/BE/Data/ML teams on technical and functional requirements.
- Support API interaction clarification and diagramming of system behaviors.
Feature Definition & Validation
- Own feature definitions, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios.
- Conduct UAT, validate feature outputs, and ensure readiness for release.
- Identify gaps and manage requirement updates based on changes or constraints.
Documentation & Business Clarity
- Maintain and update business-level documentation.
- Create clear, structured product specifications and workflow diagrams.
- Act as the communication bridge between business goals and technical implementation.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of IT Operations, ITSM processes, and incident lifecycle.
- Experience with metrics definition and dashboard interpretation.
- Solid data analysis skill, able to inspect and validate using SQL.
- Basic understanding of ML/AI concepts, especially relevant to AIOps:
- Experience defining API contracts, workflow mapping, and system interaction diagrams.
- Prior experience as BA in data-heavy or enterprise SaaS products.
- Familiarity with FE/BE/Data/ML collaboration workflows.
