Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for insurance-related systems and digital solutions.
  • Analyze and map current business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Prepare clear and detailed documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, User Stories, and process flows.
  • Act as a bridge between business teams and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and correctly implemented.
  • Support solution design discussions, review functional specifications, and ensure proposed solutions align with business needs and insurance industry standards.
  • Collaborate with QA teams during SIT/UAT phases, assist in defining test scenarios, and support users during testing activities.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide insights related to insurance products, policy administration, claims, underwriting, or related processes to support system enhancements and new initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • From 3+ years of experience as ITBusiness Analyst
  • Preferably in the insurance or financial services domain.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance business processes such as policy lifecycle, claims management, underwriting, or distribution channels.
  • Documentation Skills: Proven experience in writing BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders.
  • Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Tools: Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Visio, or similar documentation and collaboration tools is a plus.
