Key Responsibilities:
- Bridge the communication gap between Japanese clients and the development team (Dev/QA/PM).
- Gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements from clients.
- Draft technical documentation, including:
-Requirement Definition (要件定義)
-Basic Design (基本設計)
-User Stories / Use Cases
- Communicate and coordinate requirements in Japanese via meetings, chat, and email.
- Support the development team to ensure a precise understanding of business logic and requirements.
- Participate in product reviews to ensure outputs align with client expectations.
- Propose process or product improvements based on business insights.
Requirements:
Language Skills
- Japanese proficiency equivalent to N2 or higher (candidates who have studied or worked in Japan are highly preferred).
- Strong professional communication skills:
- Capable of working directly with Japanese clients.
- Able to write clear emails and documentation.
Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience as a BA or BrSE, with a strong, hands-on background in Business Analysis (mandatory).
- Proven experience working directly with Japanese clients.
- Strong logical thinking:
- Ability to analyze requirements (As-is / To-be).
- Solid understanding of business flows and data flows.
- Ability to:
- Ask targeted, high-impact questions.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements.
- Experience in writing documentation (specifications, designs, user stories).
Nice to Have
- An IT background (Dev/QA/PM).
- Basic understanding of system design.
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Domain experience in: Fintech, SaaS, E-commerce, or HR systems.
- Experience working onsite in Japan or long-term direct collaboration with Japanese clients.
