Business Analyst

About the role:

The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating detailed documentation (SDRDs and FSDs), and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of business processes and IT systems.

Responsibilities:

● Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Analyze and understand the underlying business processes and objectives.

● Software Development Requirement Document (SDRD):

• Utilize your hands-on experience to write comprehensive SDRDs, detailing the functional and technical requirements of the project.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the documentation.

● Functional Specification Document (FSD):

• Create FSDs that clearly outline the system's functionalities and interactions.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment with the client's expectations.

● Stakeholder Management:

• Engage in eective communication with clients, project managers, development teams, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.

● Process Modeling:

• Utilize your expertise to model business processes and identify areas for improvement, eciency gains, and automation opportunities.

● Technology Understanding:

• Demonstrate a strong grasp of networks, databases, and other relevant technologies to eectively bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

● Problem Solving:

• Apply analytical thinking and a systematic approach to problem-solving, contributing to innovative solutions and overcoming challenges during project execution.

● Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate seamlessly with other team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Demonstrate adaptability and an ability to work both independently and in a team.

● Detail-Oriented:

• Display a meticulous approach to your work, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of deliverables.

● Requirements Engineering:

• Utilize your organizational skills to manage project requirements and changes eectively, ensuring smooth project execution.

● Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

● 3 years plus of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT Outsourcing Company.

● Experience working with Finance, Fintech Project is a plus.

● Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

● Proven facilitation skills with experience in writing SDRDs and FSDs.

● Familiarity with requirements engineering and stakeholder analysis.

● Demonstrated knowledge of business structures and processes modeling.

● Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

● Experience using Jira/Trello or related task management tools.

● Proactive and fast learner, able to adapt to high-pressure work environments.

● Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.

● Good understanding of UI/UX (web and mobile) and the website development process.

● Good communication in English is a plus.
