Role Overview
We're seeking a Business Analyst Intern to join our team and bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You'll gain hands-on experience gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and supporting product development for our AI-powered retail analytics platform.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and clients
- Assist in creating user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Support product managers in defining product features and specifications
- Create wireframes, mockups, and process flow diagrams
- Participate in client meetings and take detailed notes on requirements
- Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and answer questions
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and business documentation
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis in the retail analytics space
- Help track project progress and maintain project documentation
Requirements
Must have:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Attention to detail and ability to organize complex information
- Eagerness to learn about AI technology and retail industry
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques and documentation standards
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana)
- Experience with wireframing tools (Figma, Miro, Draw.io)
- Basic understanding of SQL or data analysis
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Interest in AI/ML or computer vision technologies
- Previous internship or project experience in business analysis
