Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Branding Executive who will lead branding ideas and market insights from Vietnam, working closely with SEA HQ to align with regional branding frameworks.

In this role, Vietnam is the main source of ideas and execution to ensure branding strategies truly fit the local market, while SEA HQ provides overall direction, standards, and regional optimization.

Corporate branding activities are managed independently by the Vietnam team.

This position offers strong exposure to regional collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing, while maintaining high ownership at the local market level.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for a Brand Marketing Specialist focused on online gaming.

Responsibilities

1. Game Product Branding – VN-led, HQ-aligned (50%)

· Proactively develop branding ideas, concepts, and strategies based on Vietnam market insights (player behaviour, culture, trends).

· Propose and present branding initiatives, campaigns, and creative directions to SEA HQ for alignment and optimization.

· Work with SEA HQ to refine, standardize, and scale suitable branding concepts across SEA markets when applicable.

· Lead local branding execution in Vietnam after alignment with HQ.

· Support game launches, live-ops campaigns, seasonal events, and community activations with strong local relevance.

· Coordinate with Creative, Community, Media, and external agencies to produce key visuals, trailers, events, and promotional assets.

· Monitor branding performance and gather feedback from VN campaigns to report back to HQ.

· Analyse competitors and market trends in Vietnam to continuously optimize product branding.

2. Corporate Branding – Vietnam Market (50%)

· Plan and execute corporate branding activities independently for the Vietnam market.

· Ensure consistent brand identity across all VN corporate communication channels.

· Support local PR, employer branding, and corporate marketing initiatives.

· Coordinate with internal teams to align product branding and corporate branding at the VN level.

3. Communication, Reporting & Regional Collaboration

· Act as a key communication bridge between Vietnam team and SEA HQ.

· Prepare clear reports, presentations, and branding proposals in English for HQ review.

· Clearly explain local market insights, rationale, and expected impact of proposed ideas.

· Participate in regional meetings, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

· Coordinate timelines, quality, and deliverables across VN teams and SEA HQ.

· Track budgets and campaign progress, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Brand Marketing, Brand Management, and Branding
  • Experience in Marketing and developing effective Brand Development strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Have played online games, especially MMO games.

· At least 2 years of experience in Branding/Marketing, ideally in online games or digital products.

· Strong understanding of Vietnam gaming market and player behaviour.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills, especially in English.

· Ability to proactively propose ideas and defend them with data and insights.

· Creative mindset with strong strategic thinking.

· Highly adaptable, collaborative, and detail oriented.

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
