We are partnering with a leading global player in the building materials industry to appoint a strategic and results-driven Brand Manager. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep expertise in the building materials sector to lead marketing initiatives specifically focused on the project sector, driving brand growth and market penetration.
Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute integrated annual marketing strategies aligned with business objectives to drive brand growth and market share.
- Performance Accountability: Directly oversee brand health and in-market performance, including volume growth, profitability, and competitive positioning.
- Budget & ROI: Maintain rigorous control over marketing expenditures, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and optimized for maximum ROI.
2. Brand Management
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth analysis of brand performance, macroeconomic trends, and competitor movements to identify emerging segments and unmet customer needs.
- Brand Awareness: Lead end-to-end brand and trade marketing initiatives designed to increase brand equity, purchase intent, and sales conversion.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to ensure seamless campaign execution and the achievement of broader business goals.
3. Product Management
- Product Lifecycle: Collaborate with Regional teams to drive new product development, including concept creation, packaging adaptation, and competitive pricing strategies.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Coordinate with RD&I, QA, Customer Service, and the Supply Chain to ensure the successful, high-quality launch of new products.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the current portfolio performance and proactively address product issues to maintain brand integrity.
4. Leadership & Support
- Business Growth: Assist the Head of Brand in executing high-impact strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing team productivity and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Brand Management role within a multinational corporation (MNC).
- Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in B2B product marketing within the building materials sector is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking and a relentless focus on results; advanced analytical and project management capabilities; demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to foster teamwork; excellent budget management and time-prioritization skills.
- Attributes: Confident, dynamic, and capable of thriving in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Language: Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
