Job Description

Navigos Search's client is scaling AI-powered consumer products to a global audience of millions and is now looking for a Brand Director to shape how the world experiences and trusts its products. This is a rare opportunity to own corporate brand strategy end-to-end and partner directly with the CEO and product leadership at company scale.

Role Purpose

The Brand Director will own global corporate brand strategy and execution, positioning Navigos Search's client as a trusted technology leader in high-quality AI products. The role builds and scales the end-to-end brand system while driving impact across corporate, product, employer branding, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Global Positioning

  • Define the global brand positioning, value proposition, brand promise, and strategic narrative for priority markets.
  • Develop a multi-year brand strategy and annual roadmap aligned with business priorities such as AI-first transformation, product excellence, and global expansion.
  • Build and maintain a clear brand architecture, including master brand structure, product/venture branding principles, naming conventions, and messaging frameworks.

2. Brand Narrative, Messaging & Verbal Identity

  • Create an enterprise-level messaging framework covering narrative pillars, audience-specific messaging (users, partners, talent, media), proof points, and reasons to believe.
  • Establish and maintain tone of voice and copy standards across all communications (Vietnamese and English), including corporate messaging, product storytelling, PR boilerplates, and executive communications.

3. Brand Identity System & Governance

  • Lead the development and ongoing evolution of the visual identity system, including brand guidelines, templates, design language, motion principles, and key visuals.
  • Establish strong brand governance processes for briefing, review, approval, asset management, and quality control across channels.
  • Own and manage a centralized brand asset library, ensuring consistent adoption across product teams, marketing, HR, and external partners.

4. Product Branding (AI Quality) & Go-To-Market Partnership

  • Partner closely with Product, Growth, and Creative teams to translate AI capabilities into clear user benefits and differentiated, trust-building positioning around quality, safety, and reliability.
  • Provide brand leadership for major product launches, including narrative development, brand guardrails, app store storytelling (ASO narrative, visuals, video), and cross-channel consistency.
  • Ensure product branding decisions contribute to long-term brand equity while supporting measurable growth objectives.

5. Corporate Communications, PR & Thought Leadership

  • Design and execute the company's thought leadership strategy, including CEO and C-level voice, AI and product excellence narratives, and the global-building story.
  • Lead PR strategy and agency management, covering media planning, press kits, spokesperson preparation, and reputation and risk management.
  • Coordinate industry and platform partnerships to strengthen brand credibility through case studies, conferences, and relevant industry recognition.

6. Employer Brand & Internal Brand Alignment

  • Define and evolve the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer brand narrative in close collaboration with HR and Talent teams.
  • Establish internal communication principles to ensure alignment between external brand promises and internal culture and practices.
  • Support hiring outcomes by strengthening brand attractiveness and consistency across recruitment and employer marketing materials.

7. Measurement, Insights & Brand Performance Management

  • Establish a comprehensive brand measurement framework, including brand health, awareness and consideration, share of voice, sentiment, and brand consistency.
  • Conduct quarterly brand reviews and competitive analysis to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Translate insights into action by prioritizing initiatives with clear business impact and long-term brand equity growth.

8. Leadership & Agency / Vendor Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing brand team across strategy, design, copy, and communications as the organization scales.
  • Manage agencies and external partners, including selection, scope definition, performance KPIs, budget control, and delivery quality.
  • Ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration and effective decision-making cadence.

Requirements

Experience

  • 812+ years of experience in Brand Strategy, Corporate Brand, Integrated Marketing, or Creative Strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building or elevating brands in technology, consumer digital products, or product-led organizations.
  • Experience working across multiple markets and cultures; global-facing brand experience is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in strategic positioning, brand narrative development, and messaging systems.
  • High standards for craft and quality, with strong visual and verbal brand judgment.
  • Operational excellence in governance, processes, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Data-informed decision-making with the ability to link brand initiatives to measurable outcomes.
  • Executive-level communication skills with confidence influencing C-level stakeholders.

Language

  • Strong Vietnamese and English, both written and verbal.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

  • Experience with AI or GenAI product storytelling, including trust and safety messaging.
  • Experience leading rebranding initiatives during rapid growth phases.
  • PR and thought leadership experience with international media and technology ecosystems.
