In this role, you will be instrumental in the Chassis Module, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.

  • Lead end-to-end development of brake systems (foundation, apply, WCBS, piping, hoses) across one and more vehicle programs (BEV/REEV)
  • Define brake system from concept definition, architecture selection, detailed design, virtual/physical validation, performance targets, and technical specifications compliance, and industrialization
  • Own brake system integration with chassis, suspension, steering, and vehicle controls and other modules interface
  • Lead concept selection, detailed design, and system optimization to meet Vehicle Dynamic, NVH, Corrosion, Durability, and Thermal requirements and performance.
  • Desirable in software diagnostic and analysis (DTC, trace curves, log files)
  • Review and approve design outputs including drawings, CAD models, SOR, SPB, DFMEA, DV/PV plans, and technical reports.
  • Support CAE activities such as braking performance simulation, thermal analysis, and wear prediction.
  • Knowledge in problem solving (8D/5-Why, Ishikawa, Pareto)
  • Lead brake system FSS/BTP suppliers (tier1/2) on design, validation, cost, weight and quality topics.
  • Drive commonality, localization, cost reduction, and VAVE activities without compromising safety or performance.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams.
  • Acknowledged in homologation regulatory, market mandatories certifications
  • Experience in launches programs to support program milestone, plant trials, and issue resolution during SOP and post-SOP phases.
  • Strong communication and technical leadership skills

Requirements

  • Related Degree in Engineering field
  • 8+ years of experience in automotive brake system development.
  • Strong knowledge of brake system architecture, design, validation, and industrialization.
  • Proven experience in brake system integration with chassis, suspension, steering, and vehicle control systems.
  • Good understanding of Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, Durability, Corrosion, and Thermal requirements.
  • Experience in reviewing and approving technical deliverables (CAD, drawings, DFMEA, DV/PV, reports).
  • Knowledge of CAE, braking performance simulation, and thermal analysis is a plus.
  • Familiar with software diagnostics (DTC, logs, trace data) is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa).
  • Experience supporting vehicle launch, SOP, and post-SOP activities.
  • Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
