The Opportunity
You will join a stable bookkeeping team in Vietnam and work closely with both the Australian Bookkeeping Manager and the wider Australian team. The role provides exposure to a successful and reputable Chartered Accounting firm whose partners bring more than 18 years of combined experience in professional accounting and taxation services.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Australian Bookkeeper who can independently manage multiple client accounts while maintaining accurate records, meeting reporting deadlines and delivering responsive client service.

What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of Australian clients across different industries
- Process accounts receivable, including daily receipts, invoicing, variance checks, payment follow-ups and account balancing
- Manage accounts payable, including supplier invoices, weekly payments and supplier reconciliations
- Complete balance sheet, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS), PAYG Instalment Activity Statements and supporting reports
- Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping processing and reporting
- Manage payroll activities, including monthly payroll, payroll tax, superannuation payments, IAS and HR general ledger reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure tasks are completed in line with Australian requirements and client deadlines
- Respond promptly and professionally to client and internal team queries
- Support ad-hoc bookkeeping, administrative and technical tasks as required
Key Criteria
- A relevant qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of commercial bookkeeping or accounting experience, with hands-on Australian bookkeeping experience
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Excel
- Practical experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, BAS and PAYG reporting
- Experience managing multiple clients, competing priorities and recurring deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate financial records
- Ability to independently manage bookkeeping responsibilities while contributing positively to a team
- Strong time management, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
Work Setup
- Location: Ho Chi Minh City
- Working hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Full-time office-based position
