ABOUT JOB:
The MEP BIM Modeler is responsible for developing detailed and coordinated 3D models of mechanical using Revit. The role supports the design and construction process by translating 2D drawings and markups into accurate BIM models. The position requires close collaboration with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that models are consistent with project requirements and BIM standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Create coordinated 3D BIM models of Mechanical systems (HVAC, air distribution, chilled water system) using Revit based on detailed 2D design drawings, markups, and consultant files.
- Generate high-quality views, sheets, and visualizations to support design optimization and construction planning.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams in developing detailed design and construction drawing packages.
- Assist in the preparation of as-built models, construction documentation, and related deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal and external disciplines to ensure proper model integration and system alignment.
- Implement and follow company/project BIM standards, templates, and protocols.
- Conduct regular model quality checks for accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Support model adjustments and troubleshooting as required during design revisions and coordination.
- Provide technical input and feedback to consultants, engineers, and designers for model refinement.
- Modify CAD and BIM files for cleanup, auditing, and reference management.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Revit families and BIM libraries relevant to Mechanical systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor that support the goals and values of the organization.
- To coordinate with Engineers & other modelers to complete drawings and to meet submission schedule;
- Produce design drawings by using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc;
- Undertake and responsible for the qualities of document to comply with Designer's requirement; self-check to ensure of quality of drawings & Model prior submit to Engineers, Leader, MEP BIM Coordinator;
- Ensure that all drawings & Models are reviewed and checked by Designers, MEP BIM coordinator prior to issue to Checker and Leader;
- Undertake & responsible for amendment drawings and/or design documents as per comments from Designers, Checkers, Design Leader, MEP BIM Coordinator within the assigned timeframe;
- To control the qualities of drawings and comply with company drafting standards;
- Set up model and clash detection in NavisWorks.
- Ensure compliance of drawing with design and regulatory specification
- Responsible and ensure of all the assigned tasks are performed within the assigned timeframe; simultaneously with ensure of quality assurance of drawings & Model;
- Keep and update drawing revisions and drawing register;
- Follow Company's design procedures, professional standards/rules;
- Compliance under the direction from Engineers and Leader, MEP BIM Coordinator; compliance under the assignment from Leader;
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or related technical fields.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in Mechanical BIM modeling using Revit.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical systems (HVAC, air distribution, chilled water).
- Proficient in Revit (Mechanical), AutoCAD, and NavisWorks (clash detection & model setup).
- Ability to interpret 2D drawings, markups, and convert them into coordinated 3D BIM models.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, templates, families, and project coordination workflows.
- Experience producing design drawings, sheets, schedules, and as-built models.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-check model and drawing quality.
- Good teamwork and communication skills; able to collaborate with engineers, BIM coordinators, and crossdiscipline teams.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain drawing/model accuracy.
- Familiar with documentation control, revision updates, and drawing registers.
- Willingness to follow company procedures, design standards, and instructions from Engineers/Design Leads.
