This full-time BIM Modeler (Architect Team) position is offered by ArcHesco Consultants, a joint venture of Archetype Group, where you will contribute to high-quality architectural BIM production and collaborate on offshore projects.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and/or maintenance of the BIM Execution plan for each project, and ensure that deliverables for each phase of the project are in produced in line with the prescribed BEP. Coordinate closely with fellow project team members across all disciplines and ensure good BIM modelling housekeeping, especially as model complexity and documentation volume increases.
- Work closely with the engineers, BIM team members across all principle disciplines especially with regard to LOD, clash detection and rectification, and problem solving.
- Assist Manager in reviewing BIM models and data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that BIM models are being used effectively to improve design coordination and communication
- Where necessary, participate in project presentations and meetings with on the design team to promote new BIM methodologies, tools, and techniques which may help in enhancing project productivity.
- Ensure that BIM data is being managed and archived appropriately for future use
- To be familiar with BIM/Revit software.
- Good grasp of engineering principles and spatial co-ordination within the chosen discipline.
- Must have some appreciation of interfacing with architectural, Structural and MEP disciplines,
- Work with the design team to determine the most appropriate drawing documentation presentation
- Extracting design information from analysis models to generate details
- Must be able to learn and retain new skills quickly from a variety of sources and show potential to work with limited supervision.
- Willingness to work flexibly within the team to achieve the project objectives where and when required.
- Experience in working under quality systems, specifically the check and review process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modelling.
- In-depth knowledge of BIM technologies, tools, and methodologies
- Experience with BIM authoring tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, 3Ds Max
- Experience with BIM data management and interoperability tools such as BIM 360, ACC, ProjectWise, and Solibri is preferred.
- Experience with developing BIM routines, such as by using Dynamo, or other third-party BIM add-in software is preferred
- Hands-on experience with engineering design and knowledge of engineering software platforms is preferred
- Strong communication skills and proactiveness is a must,
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to collaborate with multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in ACC collaboration
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.
