BIM MEP Coordinator

1.Assist in developing, maintaining, and managing BIM standards, protocols, and project BIM

implementation.

2.Manage, perform and coordinate BIM-related workflows, including clash detection, model coordination,

and information exchange.

3. Coordinate with planner to generate 4D simulation if required.

4.Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings between related parties to resolve the detected clashes.

5.Share the clash/issue report and federated models with related stakeholders (architect, engineer,

consultant, workshop, contractor, QS, QA-QC, project manager, etc.)

6. Conduct regular audits and reports of BIM models and data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of BIM data and models.

7.Follow and work closely with other stakeholders in the design and manufacturing process to make sure all the model changes are updated in the clash/issue report.

8. Check the quality of the discipline models to ensure all the essential information/attributes (both geometry and non-geometry) for each stage is generated correctly in the model elements and fully complies with the requirements.

9.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to BIM users.

10.Support BIM manager in developing information requirement for model/drawing for each stage of the

project development.

11.Support BIM manager in developing related training courses and conduct the training if assigned.

12.Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies related to BIM and propose

innovative solutions to enhance construction productivity.

13.Research new application and BIM use.

Ability & Qualification

• Graduate University or Diploma in Architecture, engineering, construction.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with BIM software(Revit, Navisworks, etc.) on design/construction

projects.

• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

• Experience with these softwares: Dynamo, Unreal Engine, Blender, Grasshopper, or other BIM software is

an advantage.

• Ability to work on multiple projects or tasks, have good time management skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Able to take responsibility.

• A will to develop an understanding of other disciplines for coordination is a requirement. Some previous

experience is an advantage.

• Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Flexible attitude and growth mindset. An interest and self-motivation to study and learn are required.
