Responsibilities
- Collaborate with authorities, clients, and contractors to establish project schedules, BIM standards, and workflows. Oversee on-site and off-site BIM teams to ensure timely deliverable submission.
- Create, maintain, and enforce the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP). Set up and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) to streamline cross-disciplinary communication and data sharing.
- Run multidisciplinary clash detection (Architecture, Structure, MEP, Process), lead coordination meetings, participate in site meetings, and resolve model discrepancies.
- Drive the integration of BIM into VDC, IDD, and IPD frameworks. Incorporate 4D phase planning, 5D cost estimation, and 6D asset management into the project lifecycle.
- Audit team adherence to BIM protocols, deliver BIM/CDE training to owners, contractors, and internal teams, and act as technical helpdesk support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (Specialist Diploma in BIM preferred), supported by at least 6 years of hands-on BIM experience in construction/engineering.
- Prefered hands-on experience with thermal power plant projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud / Forma), MS Office, and relevant BIM visualization and simulation tools.
- Strong technical background in BIM and construction management, solid analytical skills, and proven organizational ability to handle high-pressure, tight-deadline environments.
