Job Description
At
Rixos Phu Quoc, our bars are about great service, good energy, and consistent quality. We are looking for a
Bartender who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering friendly, efficient service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve beverages in line with hotel standards and service procedures.
- Prepare and serve beers, spirits, soft drinks, and mixed drinks.
- Support Mixologists during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar counter and work areas.
- Assist with bar set-up, mise en place, and simple garnishes.
- Take guest orders accurately and deliver service in a polite, professional manner.
- Follow opening and closing procedures as instructed.
- Assist with stock handling and report low supplies when required.
- Handle basic cashiering duties in accordance with outlet procedures.
- Adhere to hygiene, health & safety, and hotel service standards.
- Support banqueting or other outlets when required.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as scheduled.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, or resort environment preferred.
- Knowledge of beverage service, including beers, spirits, soft drinks, and simple mixed drinks.
- Willingness to learn standard drink recipes and follow established service procedures.
- Friendly, polite, and professional approach to guest service.
- Ability to take orders accurately and serve beverages efficiently.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organised bar area at all times.
- Willingness to support senior bartenders and mixologists during service.
- Basic cash handling or POS experience is an advantage.
- Team player with a positive attitude and respect for workplace procedures
