Position Summary

Oversees strategic beverage operations across all outlets and Banquet events, ensuring consistent 5-star quality and service excellence. This role focuses on leading the bar team through expert training, creative menu engineering, and cost control. As a key leader, the Bar Manager drives revenue and guest satisfaction by implementing innovative programs and maintaining a hands-on presence. 

Key Responsibility

  1. Oversee daily beverage operations across all hotel outlets to ensure consistent presentation and 5-star quality.
  2. Collaborate with all Outlet Managers and F&b Head to design beverage menus, specialty bars, and efficient service flows for large-scale events and weddings.
  3. Be present during peak hours to handle guest flow, render assistance, and ensure VIP guests are personally attended to.
  4. Maintain and exceed guest satisfaction ratings by proactively resolving complaints and empowering the team to deliver wow moments.
  5. Drive upselling techniques among staff to increase the average check. - Develop creative beverage programs, seasonal promotions, and signature menus tailored to the unique identity of each outlet and Banquet requirement.
  6. Monitor yields, minimize wastage, and ensure beverage costs remain within the approved budget.
  7. Ensure accurate stock-taking and adherence to standard recipes to maintain consistency.
  8. Organize internal training on mixology, wine knowledge, and soft skills to align with 5-star SOPs.
  9. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager/ Director. 

Key Competency

  1. Adaptive leadership in Multi-outlet & Banquet operations.
  2. Expert in designing and launching new beverage concepts.
  3. Crafting creative, high-margin signature programs.
  4. Optimizing revenue and beverage cost control.
  5. Mentoring teams to deliver 5-star service excellence. 

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  2. Sommelier or Mixology certifications are a plus.
  3. At least 3 years in a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager role, preferably in 4-5 star hotels or high-end lounge/rooftop bars.
