About the Opportunity
Our client is looking for a skilled Core Banking Developer (C/C++) to support a strategic banking technology project. This is a project-based contract role (6 months - auto renew) with opportunities to work on large-scale core banking and payment systems in a fast-paced financial environment.
The team is looking for candidates who can join ASAP in May and contribute immediately to critical development and integration activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and ensure the stability of the Core Banking System
- Troubleshoot system bugs, incidents, and performance issues across production and non-production environments
- Develop and enhance backend/server-side functionalities using C/C++ and related technologies
- Optimize database performance and manage Oracle SQL/PLSQL queries and procedures
- Participate in the development and support of banking modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL) & Reconciliation
- Loan Management
- Deposit Systems
- Card Services
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Payment Channels
- Collaborate with developers, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver system enhancements
- Support integrations with external platforms such as payment gateways, eWallets, Napas, and SBV systems
- Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, API documentation, and release notes
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Monitor application health, investigate production issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Provide weekly progress updates and incident reports
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in backend software development
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ or other C-based technologies
- Solid experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database performance tuning
- Hands-on experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, or fintech domains is highly preferred
- Familiarity with ISO8583, payment gateway protocols, or system integration concepts is an advantage
- Understanding of banking products and domains such as Loan, Deposit, Card, FX, or Payment Channels is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
