We are looking for a
Backend Engineer (Python/Azure) to join our expert team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role is perfect for team players with a strong interest in developing their international career - not just as a coder, but as a product builder.
YOUR EXCITING TASKS
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python
- Design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices
- Build cloud-based backend solutions using Azure services such as Container Apps and Storage Account
- Contribute to building scalable and reliable backend systems
- Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure system stability
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve code quality and system design
- Monitor application performance and help troubleshoot production issues
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Continuously improve technical skills and stay updated with modern backend technologies
YOUR PROFILE AND YOUR PERSONALITY
- 35 years of experience in Python backend development
- Experience building backend services using FastAPI framework
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with scalable backend architectures
- Experience integrating AI tools, prompt engineering or building AI services
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience implementing monitoring and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry)
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest)
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and development best practices
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Nice To Have
- Experience working with Azure cloud services, especially Container Apps and Storage Account
- Familiarity with message queues or event streaming (e.g. Service Bus)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform, Terragrunt, CDK
- Experience working with Node.js is a plus
