Back End Developer (Nodejs)

At Everfit, backend engineers don't just implement tickets. You design systems that power a global product used by coaches and clients every day.

You will:

• Design, build, and scale backend services usingNode.jsthat directly impact product growth and revenue
• Architect and evolve ourmicroservices-based platformas we scale globally
• Develop clean, well-structured RESTful APIs powering web and mobile applications
• Take ownership of backend systems across domains such as:
• Core product infrastructure
• Subscription, billing, and payout flows
• AI-powered backend services
• Marketplace & partner ecosystems
• Make thoughtful architecture decisions that balancescalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
• Design reliable systems wheredata integrity and correctness truly matter
• Operate what you build monitoring, debugging, and continuously improving production systems
• Act as a technical partner to Product, Finance, and AI teams shaping solutions, not just executing them
• Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, system design discussions, and mentorship
• Own projects end-to-end from idea to production to optimization

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience in real production environments
• Able to communicate clearly in English within an international team
• Strong proficiency inNode.js (ES6+), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
• Solid experience withPostgreSQL, Redis, and scalable data modeling
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, and system design trade-offs
• Comfortable debugging live systems and handling real production traffic
• Confident collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments
• Motivated to grow into aLead-level engineerand take on greater technical ownership over time

We're hiring backend talent acrossCore Platform, Payments & Monetization, AI services, and Marketplace systems. Experience in one or more of these areas is a strong advantage:

• Designing subscription, billing, or payout systems with high data consistency
• Integrating payment providers (e.g., Stripe, Stripe Radar)
• Building systems for multi-sided platforms (SaaS, marketplace, partner ecosystems)
• Working on AI-powered or data-intensive backend services
• Event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS) or high-throughput systems
• Scaling backend systems serving global users
