ROLE PURPOSE

As part of Marou's International team, the B2B Lead Generation & Content Intern supports the growth of Marou's wholesale, distribution, and corporate gifting business by building qualified lead pipelines, running email outreach and nurture programs, and producing the sales-enablement content that helps prospects move from interest to first order. This role contributes directly to converting Marou's strong brand awareness into measurable B2B revenue across France, and key export markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Lead generation & prospecting

  • Build and qualify B2B prospect lists across target segments (specialty retail, fine grocery, HoReCa, hotels, corporate gifting, distributors).
  • Manage outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, and trade directories.
  • Capture and qualify inbound leads from the website, trade shows, and partner referrals.
  • Maintain clean, up-to-date contact and account records in the CRM.
  • Write copy for B2B landing pages, lead-capture forms, and funnels.

Email marketing & nurturing

  • Plan, write, and send B2B email campaigns and nurture sequences for cold prospects, warm leads
  • Segment audiences by market, channel, and buying stage to deliver relevant content.
  • Test subject lines, copy angles, and sending cadences to improve open, click, and reply rates.
  • Coordinate with the wholesale and sales team to align messaging with commercial priorities.

Pipeline tracking & reporting

  • Track lead volume, conversion rates, and pipeline progression in the CRM.
  • Report weekly on outreach activity, response rates, and qualified leads generated.
  • Identify and propose improvements to lead-capture mechanisms, email performance, and follow-up workflows.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • C1 level in English.
  • C1 level in French (mandatory).
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for B2B audiences.
  • Comfortable with CRM and email marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo, or similar).
  • Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel for list building and basic reporting.
  • Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through on multi-step outreach workflows.

PREFERABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in B2B marketing, sales development, or trade marketing.
  • Familiarity with F&B, specialty food, premium retail, or HoReCa channels.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
  • Light design literacy (Canva, Figma) to produce or adapt B2B assets.
  • Understanding of marketing automation and lead scoring.
  • Interest in chocolate, specialty food, or premium lifestyle brands.

This internship is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, offering a unique opportunity to live, work, and immerse yourself in a vibrant new culture. To make the most of this experience, we're looking for someone who is independent, adaptable, and excited to embrace life abroad.

  • Travel & Accommodation: You'll be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of your round-trip flights, as well as finding and managing your own accommodation during the internship.

Expected joining date: September, 2026

Internship duration: Full-time for 6 months, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

Working location: Marou Chocolate Office, 160 B2 Street, An Khanh Ward, HCMC.
