AWS Cloud Consultant

As an AWS Cloud Consultant, you'll play a hands-on role across client engagements—from discovery and solution design through to delivery and implementation.

You will be part of a cloud consulting and delivery team that partners with clients across industries to support cloud migrations, application modernisation, and cloud-native implementations using leading public cloud platforms.

The Cloud Consultant works with clients to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based solutions. You will contribute to cloud architecture design, application modernisation, and delivery initiatives while collaborating with internal teams, partners, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand requirements and support the design of cloud and solution architectures.
• Lead or contribute to discovery, architecture, and technical workshops with customer teams.
• Support cloud migration, application modernisation, and greenfield implementation initiatives.
• Design and implement cloud solutions using AWS cloud.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented in line with agreed designs.
• Analyse existing application landscapes and contribute to cloud roadmaps, risk assessments, and solution options.

• Client-facing consulting experience delivering cloud solutions, with strong expertise in AWS and cloud architecture.
• Solid understanding of application modernisation, cloud migration approaches, DevOps practices, and cloud‑native technologies (APIs, microservices, containers, Kubernetes).
• Proven capability in designing and delivering IaaS and PaaS solutions with strong networking fundamentals (VPN, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, PowerShell) and middleware/integration platforms.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, supported by strong documentation and structured delivery.
• Consulting mindset with strong collaboration skills, adaptability in fast‑paced environments, and preferred AWS Solutions Architect and ITIL certifications.
