AWS Cloud Architect

You will join SoftwareOne's Cloud & Infrastructure Services team in Vietnam, working closely with Sales, Presales, and Delivery colleagues across Vietnam and the wider APAC region. The team partners with enterprise and regulated customers to modernise, secure, and scale their cloud platforms using AWS.

As an AWS Cloud Architect, you play a key role in shaping, governing, and delivering enterprise‑grade AWS solutions. You act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams, ensuring architectures are secure, scalable, and aligned to both customer needs and SoftwareOne standards.

What you'll be responsible for

• Designing AWS‑based enterprise architectures, including landing zones, multi‑account setups, and hybrid connectivity
• Translating business and technical requirements into high‑level and low‑level designs, diagrams, and documentation
• Partnering with Presales and Sales teams to support solution shaping, proposals, and customer presentations
• Providing architectural guidance during delivery and acting as an escalation point for complex technical challenges
• Ensuring solutions align with security, compliance, and governance requirements, particularly in regulated environments
• Contributing to architecture standards, reusable assets, and capability development within the delivery team

• Strong hands‑on experience designing and architecting solutions on AWS
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and access management
• Experience working with enterprise or regulated environments (e.g. banking, financial services, or similar)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to influence, advise, and lead architectural discussions
