Automation Tester

1. Job Overview

• Build and maintain the Automation framework for the project based on the Banks Katalon toolset.
• Design and develop test scripts from manual test cases.
• Write and update automation testing documents (Test cases, Test scripts, Checklists, Test reports).
• Execute functional and non-functional tests using automated scripts.
• Report testing results, manage and track project defects.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Develop a new Automation framework and reusable common libraries for the project.
• Design, write, and execute test scripts using Katalon along with: Selenium, Gherkin syntax, Postman, Cucumber, Git, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native, RESTful APIs, AWS, Firebase,
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform web and mobile testing.
• Work within an Agile development process (JIRA).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve automation test quality.

3. Requirements

• Proficiency in Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, Git, RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS, Firebase.
• Hands-on experience with Katalon (preferred) and scripting in Python, JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of Automation framework design and common library development.
• Experience in web and mobile cross-platform testing.
• Good understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and teamwork, able to work independently.
