Automation Tester

Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

• Work directly with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable test assignments
• Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test cases, including execution, defect reporting, retesting, and final reporting
• Develop and maintain test plans and test strategies based on available templates and best practices
• Automate test cases using frameworks and libraries (e.g., Python-based tools such as Pytest, Selenium, Robot Framework, etc.)
• Manage and track test documentation, requirements, and testing progress in a structured and organized manner
• Utilize test management tools such as Jira to monitor testing activities and ensure full traceability
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within committed schedules and deadlines
• Apply fundamental testing methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance processes

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Proficiency in Python for test automation, with hands-on experience using testing frameworks and libraries
• Solid understanding of fundamental testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing, etc.)
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira
• English fluent (both written and verbal communication for documentation and client interaction)
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• You are proactive, self-driven, and a strong team player with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to meet deadlines
