Position Summary:
Design, maintain an automation framework and develop automation test cases using Behave Python.
Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned tasks from your direct superior(s) on time.
- Determine test objectives through detailed analysis in order to automate features comprehensively.
- Develop, plan and implement automated test cases based on software requirements and technical understanding.
- Develop and extend the current test automation infrastructure to be more efficient, both in execution and in reporting.
- Run tests (including manual tests, automation tests, or both) against UAT builds/releases during the development lifecycle.
- Perform manual testing upon request for simple features.
- Take responsibility for certifying the quality of the product.
- Create bug reports in Bug Tracking systems and follow Bug life cycle.
- Report testing status and test results (daily or weekly) to superior(s) accurately and promptly.
- Support, mentor, or coach members when needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Programming skill is a MUST (Python)
- 1+ years experience in Web automation testing using BDD framework (Behave is preferred)
- 1+ years experience in API automation testing (Python, JMeter, Postman, etc.)
- Have good knowledge of testing methodologies & techniques and the defect reporting process
- Experience with Version Control (SVN, GIT), CI/CD system (Jenkins).
- Experience in testing web-based applications is required.
- Experience with defect tracking systems and quality assurance tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail).
- Problem Solving skill, Issue escalation skill, Time management skill.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing industry.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
