- Design and build end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript) following Page Object Model or similar maintainable patterns.
- Write, execute, and maintain automated test suites covering UI, API, and integration layers.
- Develop reusable libraries, fixtures, and utilities to accelerate test authoring across projects.
- Implement data-driven, parallel, and cross-browser test execution (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit).
CI/CD & Quality Engineering
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins) with proper reporting and failure triage.
- Set up and maintain test environments, test data management, and stable test execution at scale.
- Drive flaky-test reduction, execution time optimization, and meaningful test coverage metrics.
Collaboration & Quality Leadership
- Work closely with developers, BAs, and POs from sprint planning through release to ensure testability is built in from the start.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria; design test strategies and risk-based test plans.
- Mentor manual QEs and junior engineers, contributing to D1's automation playbook and internal standards.
- Communicate test results, quality risks, and release readiness clearly to both technical and client stakeholders.
