As an Automation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining automation strategies, building and leading a high-performing team, and delivering impactful solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the automation strategy for managed services operations.
Design and oversee scalable automation platforms to enhance service delivery.
Identify and prioritize high-impact automation opportunities for clients and internal operations.
Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Establish technical standards for quality, performance, and security in automation solutions.
Integrate observability, monitoring, and AI-driven enhancements into managed services.
Collaborate with delivery and client teams to ensure seamless and impactful automation deployments.
Stay updated on emerging trends in automation and AI technologies to drive innovation.
Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and methodologies.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in automation or related fields, with a focus on delivering solutions for managed service operations (e.g., infrastructure operations, incident handling, operational efficiency improvements).
2+ years of experience in technical management, including mentoring team members and guiding best practices.
Technical Expertise:
Knowledge in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation operations management.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience automating cloud operations and implementing workflow orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
Familiarity with security best practices and observability platforms like Splunk.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Proven track record of delivering automation solutions that drive measurable client ROI.
Operational experience with direct client engagement, including solution design and delivery.
Agile leadership mindset with a collaborative and continuous-improvement approach.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of AI concepts such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI is a plus.
