Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly capable Automation Engineer, relatively early in their career, to join their US-based team. This role is ideal for an individual who can think proactively, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions independently. This is not a traditional IT/help desk position; we are looking for a self-starter who can drive improvements without needing detailed specifications.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining various automation systems, integrating tools, and managing SaaS environments. You will work closely with the team to understand operational processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Build API integrations, automations, databases, scripts, and lightweight internal applications.

• Effectively utilize AI coding tools to accelerate development.

• Understand operational processes, identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and implement solutions.

• Manage the administration of the SaaS environment, including permissions, onboarding/offboarding, and basic security measures.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the business beyond assigned tasks.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Fluency in English for effective communication with the US-based team.

• Experience with tools such as n8n/Make, REST APIs, and webhooks.

• Proficiency in SQL/Postgres.

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.

• Ability to understand operational processes and propose technical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI coding tools.

• Familiarity with SaaS administration and security basics.
