JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description – Automation Software Developer Role Summary We are looking for an Automation Software Developer to support the development, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation solutions. This role works closely with senior automation engineers on PLC and SCADA applications for manufacturing and industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PLC and/or SCADA applications.
- Support system integration, testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver automation projects.
- Prepare technical documentation and support post-deployment activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation software development.
- Experience with at least one of the following:
-PLC: Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), or Beckhoff
-SCADA: AVEVA System Platform (Wonderware), GE iFIX, or FactoryTalk View
-Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC).
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with commissioning (FAT/SAT).
- Knowledge of HMI development, industrial networking, or MES integration.
- English proficiency required for communication.
