ADV Lead Engineer will be the core figure to organize the validation plan, and to compile and report the status of all Attribute validation activities, for the respective program, providing a clear assessment about timing and performance risks.
In charge of ensuring the vehicle evaluation according to the requirements of the vehicle design and development plan.
Quality assessment from the customer's perspective.
Manage errors arising during the evaluation of vehicles and components during development, work with related departments to solve arising problems.
Summarize test report, make DVP&R and get approved by top manager, meeting in Gate review and submit document on PHC system (Project Health Check)
Strictly comply with the company's rules and regulations
Ensure the allocation of all testing activities (either to external suppliers or to be performed In House)
Work together with Program Engineers, Vehicle Quality Validation experts and Function owners, to systematically capture the status of the testing activities of all Attributes
Analyse the timing situation of the validation plan, identifying risks prior to test start (vehicle readiness, logistics) or during the test performance (vehicle issues, particular situation with the external testing suppliers, limitations with internal testing,...)
Analyse the overall situation regarding performance deviations, for any of the attributes.
Lead the program validation status meetings, with all related stakeholders.
Create a consolidated weekly status for the program, with a clear statement about risk, valid for decision making during all gate discussions
Co-work with all parties involved in the project, suppliers and internal divisions (Engineering division, Manufacturing, etc.)
Other tasks as directed by manager.
Requirements
Knowledge in vehicle level test and validation of passenger cars, basic vehicle systems and functionalities
Knowledge about Product development and validation process
Project management skill
