Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located at VCI Legal's office in Hanoi. As an Associate, your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing legal advice and support across various practice areas such as corporate law, M&A, dispute resolution, and more. You will conduct legal research, draft contracts and legal documents, participate in client meetings, and assist in negotiations and court proceedings. You will be expected to stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes to serve clients effectively and maintain high professional standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Investment. Experience in Banking & Finance or Tax & Transfer Pricing is an advantage.
- Skilled in Dispute Resolution, Litigation, and Arbitration processes. Familiarity with Antitrust and Competition Law is beneficial.
- Proficient in Drafting, Reviewing, and Negotiating legal contracts and documentation with attention to detail.
- Strong research and analytical skills to interpret laws and regulations and provide strategic legal advice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A law degree from an accredited institution. Admission to the bar in Vietnam is required.
- Previous legal experience, ideally in a top-tier law firm or corporate legal environment, is preferred.
